Pedestrian Infrastructure Development

The university, recognizing the importance of health, safety, and the encouragement of physical activity, has undertaken the expansion and improvement of pedestrian walkways and pathways. The objective of this initiative is to create a pleasant, safe, and accessible environment for all members of the university community, enabling them to move around the campus with greater ease. This project has involved the construction of new pedestrian routes in high-traffic areas of the university, the renovation and illumination of existing pathways to enhance nighttime safety, the creation of rest and seating areas along the walkways, the standardization of paths for accessibility by individuals with disabilities, and the development of green and inviting spaces surrounding the pedestrian areas.

The implementation of all these initiatives, in addition to contributing to the reduction of traffic and air pollution within the university environment, will be an effective step towards promoting a sustainable lifestyle, enhancing physical and mental well-being, and fostering environmental responsibility among the members of the academic community.
